Affiliate Programme Terms

These terms apply to creators and affiliates taking part in the LIFERYDER Affiliate Programme.

By applying, accepting an invitation or offer, purchasing a product through the 50% product opportunity, or using a LIFERYDER affiliate link or discount code, you agree to these terms.

The LIFERYDER Affiliate Programme is an active programme intended to support regular, genuine promotion of the brand. Access to an affiliate link, discount code or commission offer is not permanent and remains subject to these terms.

The LIFERYDER Affiliate Programme allows approved creators to promote eligible LIFERYDER products and earn commission on qualifying sales tracked through Shopify Collabs.

The programme is operated by LIFERYDER Ltd.

Participation is non-exclusive and does not create an employment, agency, partnership or joint venture relationship between you and LIFERYDER.

You may not enter into agreements, make commitments or act on behalf of LIFERYDER.

Who Can Apply

You must:

  • Be aged 18 or over

  • Provide accurate application and contact information

  • Have an active and appropriate social media account, website, blog, newsletter or other approved promotional channel

  • Remain actively engaged with the programme while your affiliate link or discount code is active

  • Promote LIFERYDER regularly and genuinely through your approved channels

  • Allow LIFERYDER to verify your promotional activity, including by providing links or screenshots of temporary content when requested

  • Follow these terms and the Shopify Collabs rules

  • Comply with all applicable advertising, consumer-protection and data-protection requirements

Applications are reviewed individually. Applying does not guarantee acceptance.

LIFERYDER may approve, decline, pause or end an affiliate relationship at its discretion and in accordance with these terms.

Approval And Programme Offers

Approved affiliates receive access to an affiliate link, personal discount code and commission offer through Shopify Collabs.

Your applicable commission rate, customer discount, eligible products, attribution conditions and other incentives are those displayed in your current Shopify Collabs offer or otherwise agreed with LIFERYDER in writing.

LIFERYDER may operate different programme tiers and vary offers according to the creator, product, collection, campaign, promotional period or performance level.

Affiliate offers may therefore differ between participants. Applying to or participating in the programme does not guarantee a particular commission rate, customer discount or continued access to an existing offer.

Unless confirmed otherwise, stickers, accessories, spare parts, delivery charges, gift cards and products outside the collections included in your Shopify Collabs offer do not qualify for commission or customer discounts.

Affiliate discounts are subject to the eligibility and combination settings applied at checkout. Unless LIFERYDER states otherwise, affiliate discounts cannot be used with another discount, promotion or free-delivery offer.

Affiliate links and codes may be changed, replaced or withdrawn in accordance with these terms.

Commission And Tracking

Commission is payable only when:

  • The order is attributed to your link or code by Shopify Collabs

  • The order contains an eligible product

  • The order is genuine and successfully paid

  • The order is not excluded under these terms

  • You have complied with the programme rules

Shopify Collabs tracking and LIFERYDER order records will be used to determine attribution and commission.

We cannot guarantee commission where a customer:

  • Does not use your link or code

  • Deletes or blocks tracking information

  • Uses another creator’s link or code

  • Completes the purchase through an unsupported channel

  • Places the order after tracking has expired

  • Uses a code that has been deactivated

Orders That Do Not Earn Commission

Commission will not be paid on:

  • Your own purchases

  • Purchases made by members of your household

  • Orders placed for resale

  • Test, duplicate or fraudulent orders

  • Cancelled orders

  • Fully or partially refunded products

  • Chargebacks or disputed payments

  • Orders generated through prohibited promotional methods

  • Products outside the eligible collections

  • Orders where the affiliate code has been obtained from a voucher or coupon website

LIFERYDER may open a payment dispute, reduce or cancel commission where an order breaches these terms or appears fraudulent.

Commission Payments And Taxes

Commissions are processed through Shopify Collabs.

A 30-day holding period currently applies. During this period, commissions may be cancelled or adjusted for returns, refunds, cancellations, fraud or breaches of these terms.

Payment timing also depends on Shopify’s processing and the affiliate having correctly activated their Shopify Collabs payout account.

Affiliates are responsible for declaring and paying any taxes due on their earnings or benefits received through the programme.

Advertising Disclosure

You must make the commercial relationship with LIFERYDER immediately clear.

Affiliate content must be prominently labelled: Ad

The label should appear at the beginning of the caption, post, video, article or other content, before a customer engages with the promotional message.

For Stories or similar temporary content, the disclosure should be clearly visible on each relevant frame.

Tagging LIFERYDER, including a discount code, using an affiliate link or relying only on a platform’s partnership tool is not a substitute for a clear advertising label.

Affiliate marketing is covered by the UK advertising rules, and both the affiliate and business can be responsible for non-compliant advertising. UK government guidance also says that commissions, discounts and gifted products count as incentives and that commercial content should be clearly labelled as an ad.

Content Standards

Your content must:

  • Reflect your genuine experience and opinion

  • Clearly distinguish personal opinion from factual product information

  • Use current information from the official LIFERYDER website

  • State product ages, heights, weight limits and specifications accurately

  • Avoid exaggerated or unsupported claims

  • Avoid misleading prices, discounts, availability or urgency

  • Avoid suggesting a product has features it does not have

  • Avoid claiming that any product removes the need for adult supervision or appropriate safety equipment

You must not claim to have purchased or used a product when you have not.

You must not create fake reviews, testimonials, comments or customer experiences.

Where you are unsure about a product fact, contact LIFERYDER before publishing.

Content Involving Children

LIFERYDER products are used by children, but purchasing communications should be directed towards parents, guardians and other adult buyers.

You must not:

  • Directly pressure children to purchase

  • Encourage children to pester parents or guardians

  • Suggest that owning a product makes a child superior or more accepted

  • Encourage unsafe or inappropriate product use

You must have suitable parental or guardian permission for any children who appear in your content.

Affiliate Links And Discount Codes

Your affiliate link and discount code are issued solely for your approved promotional activity.

You must not:

  • Post or submit your code to voucher, coupon, cashback or deal websites

  • Submit your code to browser extensions or public discount-code databases

  • Ask another person or business to distribute your code through those channels

  • Misrepresent the code as an exclusive or site-wide offer

  • Create additional or unofficial discount codes

  • Use automated cookie placement, forced redirects or cookie stuffing

  • Interfere with another creator’s attribution

  • Encourage customers to cancel and reorder purely to obtain your commission

  • Use your code for your own purchases or purchases made by members of your household

You should notify LIFERYDER promptly if you discover that your code has appeared on an unauthorised website or channel.

LIFERYDER routinely monitors the distribution and use of affiliate discount codes. A code found on a public voucher, coupon, cashback, deal or discount-code website may be removed or replaced without prior notice.

Removal of a leaked code does not automatically end the affiliate relationship. However, a replacement code is not guaranteed and will be issued at LIFERYDER’s discretion.

Where a code has become publicly available through an unauthorised channel, LIFERYDER may review the orders and commission attributed to it. Commission may be disputed, reduced or cancelled where LIFERYDER reasonably believes that an order resulted from a public voucher-code search or another prohibited promotional method rather than the affiliate’s approved promotional activity.

Paid Advertising

You must not run paid advertising promoting LIFERYDER without written permission.

This includes advertising through:

  • Google

  • Microsoft

  • Meta

  • Instagram

  • Facebook

  • TikTok

  • YouTube

  • Pinterest

  • Other advertising or sponsored-placement platforms

You must not bid on:

  • LIFERYDER

  • LIFERYDER product names

  • LIFERYDER domain names

  • Misspellings or variations of the LIFERYDER name

  • Phrases suggesting that your page is an official LIFERYDER page

You must not place affiliate links in paid advertisements unless LIFERYDER has approved the campaign in writing.

Emails And Direct Messages

You may promote LIFERYDER to an audience that has genuinely chosen to receive communications from you.

You must not use:

  • Purchased email lists

  • Spam

  • Unsolicited bulk messages

  • Automated direct-message campaigns

  • Misleading subject lines

  • False claims that a message comes directly from LIFERYDER

You are responsible for ensuring your communications comply with applicable privacy and electronic marketing requirements.

Using The LIFERYDER Brand

The brand should be written as:

LIFERYDER

Where relevant, use:

  • @liferyder.uk

  • #LIFERYDER

You may use approved LIFERYDER logos, images and product information solely to promote the programme while your partnership is active.

You must not:

  • Alter the LIFERYDER logo

  • Register a domain or social account containing LIFERYDER

  • Impersonate an official LIFERYDER account

  • Suggest that you are employed by LIFERYDER

  • Create misleading packaging, listings or promotional material

  • Sell or licence LIFERYDER assets to another party

All LIFERYDER trademarks and brand assets remain the property of LIFERYDER Ltd.

Ownership And Reuse Of Content

Joining the affiliate programme does not automatically transfer ownership or usage rights in your content to LIFERYDER.

LIFERYDER may ask for permission to repost or reuse particular content. Any wider usage, including advertising use, will be agreed separately.

The 50% Product Opportunity

Affiliate participation does not automatically entitle you to a free or discounted product, payment for creating content, reimbursement of expenses, paid campaign work or future product opportunities.

Selected affiliates may be invited to purchase one approved LIFERYDER product at 50% off. The opportunity is personal, cannot be transferred and is subject to approval and product availability.

You must wait until LIFERYDER has confirmed your selection and supplied a private purchasing discount before placing your order. The discount must not be shared and cannot be used for additional products, resale purchases or orders for other members of your household.

Commission is not payable on your own product order.

To receive a refund of the amount paid for the approved product, you must:

  • Publish your first promotion within 14 days of delivery

  • Publish 2 dedicated Reels or permanent feed posts within 60 days of delivery

  • Share 2 separate and meaningful sets of Stories within 60 days of delivery

  • Ensure the Story content genuinely features or discusses the product and is not simply a reshare of a permanent post

  • Tag @liferyder.uk

  • Clearly label every relevant post, Reel and Story as Ad

  • Include or direct followers to your affiliate link or discount code

  • Use accurate and current product information

  • Send LIFERYDER links to the permanent content and screenshots of temporary content within the 60-day period

When all requirements have been completed and verified, LIFERYDER will refund the amount actually paid for the approved product to the original payment method.

The refund applies only to the approved product price paid. Delivery charges, accessories, spare parts, additional products and other costs are not included.

If the requirements are not completed within 60 days, no refund will be due. 

LIFERYDER may agree to a revised date in exceptional circumstances, but any extension must be confirmed in writing before the original deadline.

Completing the product opportunity does not create an entitlement to continued programme membership, future products, replacement products, paid work or additional discounts.

Joining the programme does not transfer ownership or usage rights in your content to LIFERYDER. Any additional content requirements or permission for LIFERYDER to reuse content must be agreed separately in writing.

Customer Enquiries

Do not make promises about delivery, returns, refunds, warranties, product availability or customer-service outcomes on behalf of LIFERYDER.

The terms and policies displayed on the LIFERYDER website apply to customer purchases.

Prohibited Content

Affiliate content must not contain or support:

  • Illegal activity

  • Hate speech or discrimination

  • Harassment

  • Violence or dangerous behaviour

  • Sexual or adult content

  • Deliberately misleading information

  • Content that could materially damage the LIFERYDER brand

You must also comply with Shopify Collabs Community Guidelines. Shopify can flag high-risk creators, place commissions into dispute and deactivate links, codes, gifts or partnerships for guideline breaches.

Reviewing And Ending Affiliate Relationships

Affiliate activity is reviewed monthly.

LIFERYDER may pause or terminate an affiliate relationship where:

  • The affiliate breaches these terms

  • The affiliate misuses an affiliate link or discount code

  • A code is leaked or distributed through an unauthorised channel

  • Affiliate content is misleading, inaccurate or non-compliant

  • Promotional activity creates legal or reputational risk

  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is identified

  • An affiliate does not complete the requirements of an accepted 50% product opportunity

  • The affiliate is no longer actively promoting LIFERYDER

  • The programme is changed or discontinued

For affiliates who are not taking part in a 50% product opportunity, LIFERYDER may consider recent promotional content, attributable traffic and qualifying sales when deciding whether the partnership remains active.

Where inactivity or missed promotional activity is the only concern, LIFERYDER will normally contact the affiliate and allow seven days to respond or provide evidence of activity before pausing the connection.

Immediate action may be taken without prior notice where there is a code leak, fraud, prohibited advertising, misleading content or another material legal or commercial risk.

When a connection is paused, the affiliate’s links and discount codes may be deactivated and any unused product opportunity or purchasing discount may be cancelled. The relationship may be reactivated later at LIFERYDER’s discretion.

Any outstanding commission remains subject to the applicable holding period, order-validity checks, disputes, refunds and these terms.

An affiliate may leave the programme at any time by contacting LIFERYDER or ending the connection through Shopify Collabs.

Changes To The Programme

LIFERYDER may update these terms, commission rates, customer discounts, eligible products, activity requirements and other programme incentives.

Material changes affecting active affiliates will be communicated through Shopify Collabs, email or another reasonable method and will take effect from the date stated in that communication.

Changes to commission rates will normally apply only to qualifying orders placed after the new rate takes effect. Commission validly earned before that date remains subject to the offer and terms that applied when the order was placed.

New or amended promotional requirements will not be applied retrospectively to activity that was due before their stated effective date.

Continued participation in the programme, use of an affiliate link or code, or acceptance or use of a 50% product opportunity after a change takes effect will be treated as acceptance of the updated terms.

Affiliates who do not accept a change may leave the programme before it takes effect.

No Guarantees

LIFERYDER does not guarantee:

  • A minimum number of sales

  • A minimum commission payment

  • A particular conversion rate

  • Continued access to a programme or rate

  • Acceptance into discounted-product, refunded-product or paid opportunities

Your results will depend on your audience, content and promotional activity.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to the programme, subject to any legal rights that cannot be excluded.
