LIFERYDER Affiliate Programme Terms

These terms apply to creators and affiliates taking part in the LIFERYDER Affiliate Programme.

By applying, accepting an invitation or using a LIFERYDER affiliate link or discount code, you agree to these terms.

1. About the programme

The LIFERYDER Affiliate Programme allows approved creators to promote eligible LIFERYDER products and earn commission on qualifying sales tracked through Shopify Collabs.

The programme is operated by LIFERYDER Ltd.

Participation is non-exclusive and does not create an employment, agency, partnership or joint venture relationship between you and LIFERYDER.

You may not enter into agreements, make commitments or act on behalf of LIFERYDER.

2. Eligibility and approval

You must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Provide accurate application and contact information
  • Have an active and appropriate social media account, website, blog, newsletter or other approved promotional channel
  • Follow these terms and the Shopify Collabs rules
  • Comply with all applicable advertising, consumer protection and data protection requirements

Applications are reviewed individually. Applying does not guarantee acceptance.

LIFERYDER may approve, decline, suspend or end a partnership at its discretion.

3. Affiliate offer

Approved affiliates currently receive:

  • 8% commission on qualifying sales of eligible products
  • A unique affiliate link and discount code
  • A 10% customer discount on eligible products
  • One use of the affiliate discount per customer

The eligible collections are currently:

  • Big Wheel Scooters
  • 3 Wheel Scooters
  • 2 Wheel Scooters
  • Balance Bikes

Stickers, accessories, spare parts, delivery charges, gift cards and products outside the eligible collections do not qualify unless LIFERYDER confirms otherwise in writing.

Commission rates, discounts and eligible products may change. We will aim to give reasonable notice of material changes, except where an immediate change is required to prevent fraud, misuse or legal risk.

4. Qualifying sales

Commission is payable only when:

  • The order is attributed to your link or code by Shopify Collabs
  • The order contains an eligible product
  • The order is genuine and successfully paid
  • The order is not excluded under these terms
  • You have complied with the programme rules

Shopify Collabs tracking and LIFERYDER order records will be used to determine attribution and commission.

We cannot guarantee commission where a customer:

  • Does not use your link or code
  • Deletes or blocks tracking information
  • Uses another creator’s link or code
  • Completes the purchase through an unsupported channel
  • Places the order after tracking has expired
  • Uses a code that has been deactivated

5. Excluded sales

Commission will not be paid on:

  • Your own purchases
  • Purchases made by members of your household
  • Orders placed for resale
  • Test, duplicate or fraudulent orders
  • Cancelled orders
  • Fully or partially refunded products
  • Chargebacks or disputed payments
  • Orders generated through prohibited promotional methods
  • Products outside the eligible collections
  • Orders where the affiliate code has been obtained from a voucher or coupon website

LIFERYDER may open a payment dispute, reduce or cancel commission where an order breaches these terms or appears fraudulent.

6. Commission payments

Commissions are processed through Shopify Collabs.

A 30-day holding period currently applies. During this period, commissions may be cancelled or adjusted for returns, refunds, cancellations, fraud or breaches of these terms.

Payment timing also depends on Shopify’s processing and the affiliate having correctly activated their Shopify Collabs payout account.

Affiliates are responsible for declaring and paying any taxes due on their earnings or benefits received through the programme.

7. Advertising disclosure

You must make the commercial relationship with LIFERYDER immediately clear.

Affiliate content must be prominently labelled:

The label should appear at the beginning of the caption, post, video, article or other content, before a customer engages with the promotional message.

For Stories or similar temporary content, the disclosure should be clearly visible on each relevant frame.

Tagging LIFERYDER, including a discount code, using an affiliate link or relying only on a platform’s partnership tool is not a substitute for a clear advertising label.

Affiliate marketing is covered by the UK advertising rules, and both the affiliate and business can be responsible for non-compliant advertising. UK government guidance also says that commissions, discounts and gifted products count as incentives and that commercial content should be clearly labelled as an ad.

8. Honest and accurate content

Your content must:

  • Reflect your genuine experience and opinion
  • Clearly distinguish personal opinion from factual product information
  • Use current information from the official LIFERYDER website
  • State product ages, heights, weight limits and specifications accurately
  • Avoid exaggerated or unsupported claims
  • Avoid misleading prices, discounts, availability or urgency
  • Avoid suggesting a product has features it does not have
  • Avoid claiming that any product removes the need for adult supervision or appropriate safety equipment

You must not claim to have purchased or used a product when you have not.

You must not create fake reviews, testimonials, comments or customer experiences.

Where you are unsure about a product fact, contact LIFERYDER before publishing.

9. Advertising to families

LIFERYDER products are used by children, but purchasing communications should be directed towards parents, guardians and other adult buyers.

You must not:

  • Directly pressure children to purchase
  • Encourage children to pester parents or guardians
  • Suggest that owning a product makes a child superior or more accepted
  • Encourage unsafe or inappropriate product use

You must have suitable parental or guardian permission for any children who appear in your content.

10. Affiliate links and discount codes

Your link and code are issued for your approved promotional activity.

You must not:

  • Post your code on voucher, coupon, cashback or deal websites
  • Submit your code to browser extensions or discount-code databases
  • Misrepresent the code as an exclusive site-wide offer
  • Create additional or unofficial discount codes
  • Use automated cookie placement, forced redirects or cookie stuffing
  • Interfere with another creator’s attribution
  • Encourage customers to cancel and reorder purely to obtain your commission

LIFERYDER may deactivate a link or code that has been leaked, misused or distributed through an unauthorised channel.

11. Paid advertising

You must not run paid advertising promoting LIFERYDER without written permission.

This includes advertising through:

  • Google
  • Microsoft
  • Meta
  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • TikTok
  • YouTube
  • Pinterest
  • Other advertising or sponsored-placement platforms

You must not bid on:

  • LIFERYDER
  • LIFERYDER product names
  • LIFERYDER domain names
  • Misspellings or variations of the LIFERYDER name
  • Phrases suggesting that your page is an official LIFERYDER page

You must not place affiliate links in paid advertisements unless LIFERYDER has approved the campaign in writing.

12. Email and direct messages

You may promote LIFERYDER to an audience that has genuinely chosen to receive communications from you.

You must not use:

  • Purchased email lists
  • Spam
  • Unsolicited bulk messages
  • Automated direct-message campaigns
  • Misleading subject lines
  • False claims that a message comes directly from LIFERYDER

You are responsible for ensuring your communications comply with applicable privacy and electronic marketing requirements.

13. Brand name and assets

The brand should be written as:

LIFERYDER

Where relevant, use:

  • @liferyder.uk
  • #LIFERYDER

You may use approved LIFERYDER logos, images and product information solely to promote the programme while your partnership is active.

You must not:

  • Alter the LIFERYDER logo
  • Register a domain or social account containing LIFERYDER
  • Impersonate an official LIFERYDER account
  • Suggest that you are employed by LIFERYDER
  • Create misleading packaging, listings or promotional material
  • Sell or licence LIFERYDER assets to another party

All LIFERYDER trademarks and brand assets remain the property of LIFERYDER Ltd.

14. Affiliate content and usage rights

Joining the affiliate programme does not automatically transfer ownership or usage rights in your content to LIFERYDER.

LIFERYDER may ask for permission to repost or reuse particular content. Any wider usage, including advertising use, will be agreed separately.

Affiliate participation does not automatically entitle you to:

  • A free or discounted product
  • Payment for creating content
  • Reimbursement of expenses
  • Guaranteed reposting
  • Paid campaign work

15. Gifted content opportunities

Gifted UGC opportunities are separate from the affiliate programme.

Where LIFERYDER offers a gifted product, the following will be agreed separately:

  • The product being supplied
  • Required content
  • Posting expectations
  • Delivery of original files
  • Deadlines
  • Usage rights
  • Advertising disclosure
  • Any additional conditions

Receiving an affiliate invitation does not guarantee a gifted product, and receiving a gift does not guarantee continued affiliate participation.

16. Customer enquiries

Do not make promises about delivery, returns, refunds, warranties, product availability or customer-service outcomes on behalf of LIFERYDER.

The terms and policies displayed on the LIFERYDER website apply to customer purchases.

17. Conduct

Affiliate content must not contain or support:

  • Illegal activity
  • Hate speech or discrimination
  • Harassment
  • Violence or dangerous behaviour
  • Sexual or adult content
  • Deliberately misleading information
  • Content that could materially damage the LIFERYDER brand

You must also comply with Shopify Collabs Community Guidelines. Shopify can flag high-risk creators, place commissions into dispute and deactivate links, codes, gifts or partnerships for guideline breaches.

18. Suspension and termination

You may leave the programme by contacting LIFERYDER or ending the connection through Shopify Collabs.

LIFERYDER may suspend or terminate your participation where:

  • You breach these terms
  • You misuse an affiliate link or code
  • Your content is misleading or non-compliant
  • Your promotional methods create legal or reputational risk
  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is identified
  • You are inactive for an extended period
  • The programme is changed or discontinued

When participation ends, your affiliate links and codes may be deactivated.

Any outstanding commission remains subject to the holding period, validity checks, disputes, refunds and these terms.

19. Changes to these terms

LIFERYDER may update these terms as the programme develops.

The current version will be published on the LIFERYDER website. Continued participation after being notified of a change will be treated as acceptance of the updated terms.

Changes to commission or discount rates will normally apply to future orders rather than valid orders already placed.

20. No guarantee of earnings

LIFERYDER does not guarantee:

  • A minimum number of sales
  • A minimum commission payment
  • A particular conversion rate
  • Continued access to a programme or rate
  • Acceptance into gifted or paid opportunities

Your results will depend on your audience, content and promotional activity.

21. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to the programme, subject to any legal rights that cannot be excluded.
