• Please note: The Brake becomes more effective after initial use, It is designed to be a very close fit to the tyre, this is to ensure that the brake is as effective as possible. It's not unusual for some brakes to touch and rub on the tyre when first used until they are fully "bedded in" (a small wear groove appears on the bump on the brake when this has happened) It is normal for debris to appear during the bedding in period. The reason as to why some rub and others don't is because during the manufacturing process of the tyres (we don't make these) there can be slight variances in their diameters as they are made from recycled / reclaimed natural rubber, resulting in the size variance; we are only talking millimeters, though and it shouldn't impede the rider during normal use. It's also worth noting that the brakes are a "wearing" part and are designed to wear out instead of the tyre.
